Posted to Apparel , Accessories on 01/20/2012

This Sunday - January 22nd - marks the sixth anniversary of "MRket" New York - the most important menswear tradeshow of the better/luxury division of the US market. An impressive list of retailers from around the world - US, Canada and the Carribean will be best represented - will gather to see the new wares brought to you by the "Made in Italy" division of the show which will feature over 30 Italian companies all showcasing their Fall / Winter collections.  Directed by the Italian Trade Commission, the "Made in Italy" umbrella will be located in Hall 3E/D of the Jacob Javits Center. The list of all the brands that will be presented is below. The companies seem to represent a wide demographic of menswear clientele running the gamut from sharp Italian tailoring to graphic urban streetwear to special and one-of-a-kind accessories. Every company has something special to offer at this tradeshow - anything from three-quarter length tweed coats to tophats to cashmere socks. I personally am excited to view Borsalino's hats, Carraro's impeccable outerwear, Dino Bigioni's selection of quintessential Italian shoes, and Giudice's made-to-measure selection.
